ROSSIGNOL Mandy

Mandy Rossignol is a neuropsychologist. She did a training in psychotherapy as well as mindfulness. She is mainly interested in stress and anxiety related disorder and specifically social anxiety with a keen interest in Electroencephalogram (EEG) and hyper-scanning.
In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of 4 other Belgian universities, she received the Excellence of Science (EOS) scholarship sponsored by the FWO-FNRS foundation, related to the study of the transmission of resilience within families.
GALDIOLO Sarah

Sarah Galdiolo’s scientific and clinical expertise are related to couple’s psychology, parentality and family. During her studies, she focused on the relationship trajectories of couples and families such as the changes in the personality traits of parents after their newborn, the development of cognitive biases in parents with children who have externalised behavioral disorders and even the changes in the couple’s satisfaction after the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown
In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of 4 other Belgian universities, she received the Excellence of Science (EOS) scholarship sponsored by the FWO-FNRS foundation, related to the study of the transmission of resilience within families. Her main focus is going to be on the design of longitudinal experiments as well as interdependence models.

CASSIOLI Federico
Post-doctoral Researcher
Federico Cassioli earned his PhD in psychobiology and physiological psychology from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy.
His main interest focuses on electrophysiology (central and peripheral activity) and the development of research paradigms to assess inter-individual synchronisation.
Federico Cassioli is currently doing his post-doc in Belgium at the University of Mons, within an Excellence of Science (EOS) project sponsored by the FWO-FNRS foundation, where he will be assessing inter-brain connectivity in family dyads and triads.

SFEIR Michel
PhD Student
Michel holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Lausanne University in Switzerland. He is currently doing a PhD with the Excellence of Science (EOS) scholarship sponsored by the FWO-FNRS foundation which aims at studying the transmission of resilience within families. His thesis focuses on triadic behavioral synchrony and most specifically the voice synchrony as well as attachment and resilience.
In addition to his research interest, Michel Sfeir completed several clinical training such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psycho-oncology, Dialecticla Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Trauma Focused Therapy. His activity also expands into several volunteering position in NGO’s in Lebanon and Switzerland.
DE LEENER Mélanie
PhD Student
Mélanie holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and Educational Sciences (research, neuropsychology orientation) from Mons University in Belgium. She is currently doing a PhD with the Excellence of Science (EOS) scholarship sponsored by the FWO-FNRS foundation which aims at studying the transmission of resilience within families. Her thesis focuses on inter-individual neural synchronisation using electroencephalography (EEG) techniques.
Mélanie is particularly interested in executive functioning in relation to stress resilience. She is also interested in the impact of biological and environmental factors on the development of psychopathology and neurodevelopmental disorders in youth.

MAIRESSE Samantha
Research intern
Samantha Mairesse is a research intern, doing her Masters in neuropsychology at the University of Mons. Her thesis focuses on the impact of stress in childhood and the development of psychopathology in adulthood with the mediating role of hypersensitivity. After her Masters degree, Samantha will be pursuing a PhD program in psychology.
